Indian Geography covers the area of 3.28 million sq. meters and it is the seventh largest nation of the world. You can see diverse geography in India in its different states. Jammu & Kashmir is the state in which you can witness beautiful landscapes, scenic beauty of snow-capped mountains and many more. Kashmir is known as a 'paradise of the earth' due to its unmatched beauty. On the other hand, Kerala is the southern state of India which has also been counted under the ten paradises of the world by the national geographical traveler. Exotic beaches, backwaters etc., are the specialties of the state. Goa, Maharashtra and West Bengal are also the states with wonderful beaches. Actually, India is surrounded by water from three sides, and you can see the beaches of Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal in the different states of this country.

Wonderful sand dunes can also be witnessed in the India in the Rajasthan state. This state is popular for its deserts; however plains can also be seen in the cities of this state. Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and many other states of India bear plains, but several places of the nations are situated on the banks of some great rivers. Ganges, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Kosi etc., are some of the popular rivers of India. Some of these rivers have religious significance as well.

The climatic conditions of distinct states and cities of India are different from each other. You can get cool atmosphere in the places like Kashmir, Kullu Manali etc. On the other hand, great heat can be witnessed in the states like Rajasthan and West Bengal. Moreover, natural vegetation is available in many parts of India and a large number of natural resources are also found here. So much diversity in geography of india undoubtedly makes India a perfect tourist spot.
